Afternoon Sessions: WIFYR's KidLit Writing Conference June 2025
Hello, You Naughties!
Here's what we can look forward to for Afternoon Sessions this year at WIFYR. Plenaries, crafts classes, and HOWs plus a party, giveaways, and a book signing make up the afternoons this next year (June 16-20, 2025).
Editors Lisa Mangum, Samantha Millburn, Heidi Taylor, and Heather B. Moore, plus agents Michelle Witte and Amy Jameson are all teaching HOW classes. These Hand’s On Workshops are two hours long. Imagine sitting with an editor or agent, in a small class, and learning from her. So cool!
If you can’t make it to the morning sessions, you can still hear from Jennifer Nielsen, Martine Leavitt, Sharlee Glenn, Kaela Rivera, agents Michael Carr and Vicky Weber, and executive editor Stacy Whitman. These are just a few of the people who will help fill the 20 hours of Afternoon Classes.

I've been exploring different academic discussions and noticed that assignment writing often comes up as one of the more structured but challenging tasks for beginners.
