Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in German with a minor in International Business, both from Penn State. With more than a decade of experience in the publishing industry, she has worked at U.S. literary agencies as both an associate agent and PR manager, mentoring authors through programs such as Pitch Wars and leading pitch and query workshops nationwide.
An author of fiction and memoir herself, Colleen brings a deep respect for the author–art relationship alongside a strong understanding of publicity and media. Her work and experiences have been featured in People Magazine, Inside Edition, Fox News, 20/20, and a forthcoming true crime documentary.
As a literary agent, Colleen represents select romance and romantic suspense, high-concept middle grade, and adult fiction including romance, unusual retellings, and mystery, as well as high-profile crime memoir from authors with established platforms. A disabled veteran, she lives in Alaska with her family and teaches creative writing and Irish dance.
