We’ll do more than title our lives in this class. The world of memoir is gaining popularity–for all ages. Our class will concentrate on how to best tell our own stories, and how to be creative while telling the truth.
Emily Wing Smith’s novel, THE WAY HE LIVED (Flux/Llewellyn) debuted in 2008 and won the the Utah Book Award in young adult fiction. BACK WHEN YOU WERE EASIER TO LOVE (Dutton Books for Young Readers/Penguin) released in 2011 and was named one of LA Public Library’s Best Young Adult Books that year.
Emily lives with her husband in South Jordan, Utah.
