Becky Hall

Becky is a former elementary school teacher and school librarian at Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City. She loves children’s books and writes nonfiction and fiction for young people. Currently she works part time at The King’s English Bookshop and reserves plenty of time to write.

She has published two books with a third under contract. Her first book, A is for Arches (Sleeping Bear Press), was a Beehive Book Award finalist. Her second book is Morris and Buddy, the Story of the First Seeing Eye Dog (Albert Whitman). The third is the Utah counting book, also with Sleeping Bear Press. Most recently she has completed a middle grade novel.

Becky lives at the foot of Mount Olympus with her husband and Westie pup.  When she’s not reading books, Becky explores the Utah mountains, either hiking or snowshoeing. She spends summers in Montana and vacations in the Bahamas where she and her family once spent a year living on the beach and fishing for their dinner.
