Annette Lyon has had success as a professional editor and in newspaper, magazine, and technical writing, but her first love is fiction. She’s a cum laude graduate from BYU with a degree in English and is the author of over a dozen books, including the Whitney Award-winning Band of Sisters, a chocolate cookbook, and a grammar guide. She’s a regular contributor to the Timeless Romance Anthology series of romantic novellas. She’s won Utah’s Best of State medal for literary arts in fiction three times—twice for novels, once for short story, is a three-time Whitney finalist, and has received five publication awards from the League of Utah Writers, including the Silver Quill in 2013 for Coming Home, the sequel to Band of Sisters. When she’s not mothering, writing, editing, knitting, or eating chocolate, she can be found ignoring the spots on the kitchen floor and reading a good book.
